Unlike
traditional preventative
or get-you-home products,
this is not a foam.
It is held in a liquid
state, in small quantities
within the tyre, offering
no change in the handling
of the machine.
The compound is secret,
however, an amount will
penetrate the natural
slightly porous state
of the rubber, achieving
an almost perfect air
retention state in the
tyre maintaining handling
characteristics and flexibility.
It also recognises the
difference between the
inside tread and the wall
of a tyre. |

PuncturesealTM
will not hide or mask a dangerous
puncture (i.e. side wall or
tear) but will seep through
the hole giving an obvious tell
tale mark when the bike is parked
by way of Punctureseal's unique
red tracking die. The
seal is GUARANTEED for the legal
life of the tyre. It is
suitable for ALL types of tyres
and has been tested by a major
tyre manufacturer at speeds
up to 156 mph. |

TUBE
TYRE TECHNICAL INFORMATION
A tube's thickness, strength,
elasticity and reliability is
unpredictable. If your
equipment requires tubes in
the tyres, be sure to use radial
tyres. The initial cost
may be slightly more, however,
the savings and reliability
is greatly increased. |
By
installing Punctureseal into
a tube the problem can be reduced
as Punctureseal will act as
a puncture sealer (at a cost
of less than a tube in most
cases). Tubes "squirm"
inside a tyre at high speeds.
If the puncturing object is
left in the tyre and tube, it
may rip the tube.
Then even Punctureseal may not
be able to help. We recommend
that nails be removed on a routine
basis, that screws are threaded
out and not pulled, and the
tyres' air pressure be maintained
at maximum PSI to reduce the
squirming. |
